Surgical Critical Care Fellowship

Positions

The Department of Surgery at Lincoln Hospital offers a 1-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in Surgical Critical Care (SCC).  Located in the South Bronx, Lincoln is a 400-bed hospital serving a diverse urban population and is recognized for its longstanding excellence in surgical critical care.

Qualifications

  • Completion of five years in an ACGME-accredited general surgery or pediatric surgery training program.
  • Consideration may be given to highly qualified candidates who have completed a PGY-3 position in an ACGME-accredited general surgery or D.O. program, with the expectation that they will return to complete their initial general surgery training.

We accept applications through the Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Application Service (SAFAS). Make sure your application is complete and submitted by the deadline to be considered for the upcoming fellowship cycle.

Interviews

All interviews are conducted virtually.

Our interviews take place on Thursdays in April, May, and June.

Interview sessions are 2.5 hours in duration. The first hour is an informational overview of the program by Program Director Dr. Meno Lueders. Applicants then have 2-3 interviews with faculty and current fellow in virtual breakout rooms.
